Only four would be selected by the panel of judges to qualify for the Parade.

The Palace Crystals 'Cheer Magic' were selected for the honour of performing in the Parade.

The competition was organised by ITV's "London Tonight" and London Weekend Television, in conjunction with the London Parade office. The four finalists were Crystal Palace 'Cheer Magic' from South London, Ascension Eagles Elite from East London, Ascension Eagles All-Stars, and Sole File dance team from Pinner Middx. These squads will be performing alongside 1200 UCA American Allstars and 8,000 international performers on New Years Day, on a route lined by an estimated one million spectators and televised across many countries.

The Final Four then each performed a 90 second routine at Queen's Park Rangers ground at Loftus Road on 3 October during Half Time.
