BCA INCORPORATES ALLSTAR STANDARDS

The British Cheerleading Association will be introducing USASF Allstar competition rules in 2008, following advances in the Allstar standards and discussions with USASF.

Our international involvement extends more than two decades, with BCA being held in high regard abroad.   This moves aids closer integration with competition standardisation across 45 nations.

There has been significant progress in US Allstar rule systems, making full adaptation into UK liability and Duty of Care now possible.

The new AACCA coaches manual (3rd edition) now covers Allstar specifics, and there will soon be independent data available on injuries, including data specific to Allstar for the first time.   The RIO (Reporting Injuries Online) data should be available in December. Both are amongst key requirements for risk assessing such techniques in Britain.

Whenever BCA takes responsibility for new developments it is only after carefully considering all the factors, and when all the required standards of safety and duty of care can be fully met.   Those familiar with our events and standards will know the depth of care and risk management we apply.   The welfare of athletes, especially children, is our primary concern.
