There have been changes to the way USASF Credentialling and NCSSE courses are being ran.

USASF:

Credentiallng will now only be available during the weekdays at the BCA Head Office or on the Sundays at BCA Competitions. 

NCSSE:

There will no longer be the option to book onto each part seperately. All new coaches will have to book onto both days. Courses will now only be available in 4 areas: England - North, South, Midlands and Scotland. There will be two dates for each location per year.

New courses will start from September 2013.

We would like to express our sadness at the loss of Steven Walls, who passed away on Saturday 12th May.
Our thoughts go out to his wife Jo, and their family.
He was a true legend and will be greatly missed by the Cheerleading community.

BCA Allstars Coach, Scarlet Murphy, flew all the way to America to support her team and just 36 hours after touching down in Florida, she was on the plane back home ready for work on Monday morning. Here she tells us about those hectic hours in between as she watched the BCA Allstars take to the mat at Disney's Wide World of Sports and finish second in the International Open Coed Level 5 at the 2012 AmeriCheer InterNational Championships.

The BCA are pleased to announce that we will be offering the opportunity for squads and programmes to represent England at the European Cheer Union (ECU) 2013 Championships in Glasgow. All teams competing at one of the designated BCA competitions can be considered as long as the athletes meet the minimum age criteria.

The Warwick Devils Cheerleading Squad, travelled the 200 miles to Newcastle upon Tyne on Monday to perform at the auditions for the X Factor 2012.

The squad of 10 welcomed the celebrity judges; Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh, onto the red carpet in front of 5000 fans of the show, television cameras and the national media.

"After a long weekend's Training with Allstars in Surrey myself and Jonny Kirby made our way up to Maryport in Cumbria to help out with the fantastic Maryport BlueStars. Minis, Juniors and Seniors came together for a days worth of conditioning drills, stretching, tumbling, jumps and stunts to help improve their skills. The team were a pleasure to train with and it was clear to see how hard they work throughout the year.

He will be heading up a new development programme designed to increase training opportunities for Cheerleaders, Coaches, Schools and Universities.
