PLANNING TIME OUTS
Being organised on Game Day is essential, especially if your Sports Arena uses an
Announcer and/or Music D.J. The last thing you will want is a long embarassing
pause with the Time Out clock rapidly ticking down.
Make sure you have all your routines and intervals worked out beforehand and clearly
written down. You will need one copy for yourselves, plus copies for the Announcer
and sound crew.
A full size Time Out planner sheet can be viewed by clicking the
image shown on the left.
You can print it out from your regular internet browser. The Planner is designed
to be used for a variety of sports. Strike through sections not applicable.
Music for each routine should be recorded on good quality leaderless tape, pre-edited,
with one track per cassette and clearly labelled. The tape should be pre-wound
and ready just to slot and go. You should have a full set of backup cassettes available
as well.
If you have all your music on labelled cassettes, arranged in order for that
day, the D.J. can quickly select the tape specified from your Planner Sheet.
The moment you hit position on the sidelines or on court your routine should be cued spot
on.
Looking professional is being well organised.
