Spirited Car Wash
A well publicised 'Sponsored Car Wash' can be very successful. By pre arrangement with a local community or sports centre your squad ropes of a section of the car park, then sets up a 12 person 'production line' wash detail, with another six or so refilling buckets etc. First group with sponges and suds, the next to rinse down, the third group to leather.
Who can resist smiling bubbly cheerleaders, especially the Press.  It usually generates a neat photo feature in the local paper to promote the sports centre. Visitors to the centre can spend more time there without having to allow part of a weekend day to wash the car.
With good technique and teamwork it is surprising how many cars per hour can be washed.
Tip:  Keep the price per car cheap - go for quality and volume of throughput!

1. Make a cookbook using the cheerleaders favorites dishes & desserts, don't bring this to a printer, use a copy machine and either staple or use cheap ring binders, if you use ring binders you can have additional cookbooks every year & they will be able to add to their collection instead of you buying as many ring binders.......Charge around $5.00/cookbook. We're about to do this this year! Wish us luck...The people I got this idea from said they made nearly $1200!

2. Make a calender of the teams (have a football calender & a cheerleader calender). If you order in bulk you can get this done cheaper, make sure that you figure out the price/unit & charge more so that you will make a profit & not lose money...

3. Our College squad did a Skate party. We rented out a local skating rink one night, and charged for admission. The first year we did it we made almost $2000 with college kids. It was interesting, as most of us had not been on skates in 10+ years. Besides the blisters, everyone had fun. The second time we did it, we had to turn people away because we had filled the building to capacity. (This was during Spring Break in Daytona Beach, FL)
