How do I join the BCA?
See our membership section which gives details of how to register your team and coaches. Each team needs to be a current paid up member to be able to enter competitions. Every coach who registers needs to be CRB checked. BCA offers this service, see Safety for details of how to apply for a CRB check. Every cheerleader who is entered into a BCA competition must have a valid ID for the team they belong to. They can belong to both a scholastic and community team but must have separate cards for both teams.ID cards are necessary to prove age and identity.
Can I apply for a CRB check only e.g. if I am a volunteer chaperone or assistant?
Yes, in fact all chaperones and assistants must be CRB checked before they can accompany their cheerleaders at competitions, see Safety tab for details of how to apply- The cost for a CRB check is £20

How do I enter my team into one of your competitions?
Can I buy uniforms, poms and other merchandise from BCA?
