COURSES & QUALIFICATIONS for Cheerleading Judges
|
 |
The British Cheerleading Association is now offering the first British Cheerleading Judges Course. The course has been developed by BCA and Cheer Technique in conjunction with many experienced judges, both home and abroad. This course includes the current NFHS safety rules and rationale, AACCA rules for Open division, and discussion of the trends in America, including USASF. The candidates will receive instruction in the assessment of routines, the rationale behind the scoring system, and encouragement in developing a personal shorthand. Any coach who wishes to better understand the judging process, whether to apply as a BCA judge, or just to develop better competition routines, will be welcome on the course. The BCA CT Judging Manual is included in the course price. Candidates are required to obtain and bring with them, both the current NFHS Spirit Rules book and the most recent AACCA rules (download) for their own personal use.
