About the Allstars

bcaall

The BCA Allstars are a Cheerleading Squad in partnership with the British Cheerleading Association. This season we will be aiming towards a USASF Level 4 squad, tryouts are open to all ages.

Dedication. Talent. Team spirit. These are just some of the characteristics that you need to make it as a cheerleader, and the BCA Allstars have these in abundance.

In the first competitive season the squad got to live their American dream when they travelled to Florida to compete at the AmeriCheer International Championships, where they finished in second place with a score of 75%.

Last season the squad once again took to the Americheer Stage where they came first place with a great score of 90%. The squad also entered a senior co-ed group stunt and many duo/solo routines and the Spirit Rally competition which they won, gaining the title of INternational Spirited Program of the Year :)

With America in their sights again for the 2013/2014 season the Allstars are welcoming all potential athletes to attend tryouts on the 1st June 2013 at St Bede's School in Redhill.

You will see them around at BCA competitions from time to time – they are the ones hosting ‘Highest basket toss’ competitions and performing in showcases for you all.

Last years Coach Scarlett Murphy has been with the team through every step of the journey: “The BCA directors came to us a few years and said they wanted to start up an ‘allstar’ squad featuring cheerleaders from around the country, coming together to perform in showcases at BCA events,” said Scarlett.

This years team will be directed and managed by the BCA Training Manager and former member of the Allstars Terrance Shackleton, with his team of coaches - Rachel Berenson-Perkins (Stunt Coach), Sarah Waite (Dance Coach) and Laura Middlecoat (Tumble Coach).
